1. How long will my procedure take?
   In most cases, the time necessary for performing the procedure is minimal. Most procedures are handled on an outpatient basis.
2. Can I drive myself to Columbia Center and will I need to arrange a ride home?
   Because of the possible prolonged effects of anesthetic drugs, you must have a responsible adult to drive you home. If anesthetics were not used, you will be free to drive yourself home.
3. When can I stop using contraceptives following my procedure?
   That depends on which type of birth control procedure you have done. For example, an Intrauterine Device is effective immediately.
