What labor and birth options are available to me at Columbia Center?
Columbia Center offers women the opportunity to design the birth experience they want, from completely natural labor and childbirth to epidural anesthesia, available 24 hours a day.
Will my baby be able to stay in the suite with me?
Absolutely. We encourage families to keep their babies with them as much as they desire.
Can my partner spend the night with me at the hospital?
Of course. You are welcome to have them stay in your birthing suite with you.
How experienced are Columbia Center nurses?

How secure is Columbia Center?
Columbia Center uses state-of-the art methods and technologies to maintain a secure facility. Patients, visitors and employees enter through a secure entrance that requires each person to be identified before gaining entrance. Babies and their mothers wear matching bracelets that are checked by staff whenever a baby is given to a mother. The babies wear an additional bracelet with a microchip that will set off an alarm if worn in the doorway of the exit.
