Protect your entire family, protect your infant.

Infants six months old and younger are highly susceptible to contracting pertussis, the bacterial respiratory infection commonly known as “whooping cough.” Most commonly spread through airborne droplets from an infected person’s cough, pertussis is dangerous to infants. Click  here for more on protecting your infant against pertussis.

Moms have routinely received the Tdap vaccine during their stay at Columbia Center.  Now, through our participation in the Wisconsin Vaccine Cocooning Program, you can also protect your infant by protecting your family with the Tdap vaccine.  During your postpartum stay, family members and care givers over the age of seven can receive the Tdap vaccine for $15 per person.
