Mr. Rogers Neighborhood iPhone App
(available in the iTunes store)

(Reviewed by Columbia Center's Ann Grauer)

I always marvel at how small children understand technology better than their parents. And how they always know if what you're letting them hold is the "real" phone or the "toy" — and if it's the toy they want the real one!

There's a great organization that still keeps Mr. Rogers Neighborhood alive and well at www.fci.org and they've recently announced a new app for iPhones that can engage children between 3-6 years old.

Daniel Striped Tiger and the rest of the gang are a part of the game that can be found at the iTunes Store for $1.99. You and your preschooler might just have a little fun drawing, saying hello to old friends from the neighborhood and getting to know yourselves a little better!
